Cecili Weber, Miss Ohio’s Outstanding Teen 2010, is a ballet dancer from Ironton, Ohio.
She is a sophmore at Saint Joseph High School where she stays busy with academics and many extra curricular activities. Cecili has developed and promotes her own platform
H.E.A.R.T. "Helping-Expressing-Achieving-Reaching-Teaching In The Arts" which deals with promoting and keeping the creative arts in our schools.

Science Olympiad-1st place in Meteorology; Foreign Language Festival winner in Spanish Art; National Honors Society; Beta Club; Advanced Placement in Physics, Chemistry, and Geometry as a freshman; Freshie Award; National Honor Society Inductee; Superior Placement at Local and State Level Science Fair.
Leadership Roles:
Assistant teacher and mentor to the Young Dancers Program at the Yvonne DeKay School of Dance; Volunteer at local food pantry; Organizer and volunteer for local Girl Scouts of America Organization; Miss Portsmouth’s Outstanding Teen; Miss Ohio’s Outstanding Teen.
Accomplishments:
Girl Scouts of America Silver Award Winner; Varsity Cheerleader; Member of the Yvonne DeKay Competitive Dance Team; 1st place winner at Dance Masters of the Bluegrass Regional in Jazz and Contemporary Performance; Dance Masters of America Nationals Special Award Winner for "Style and Smile"; High Score Winner in Pointe, Jazz and Contemporary Performance this past July at Dance Masters of America Nationals in Washington D.C.; Member-St. Joseph’s Choir; High Gold placement at Applause Talent Competition in Contemporary, Modern, Pointe Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Lyrical.
Interesting Facts:
I have traveled around the world visiting international museums; I have a passion for used book stores; I love listening to my parent’s collection of music from their generation. My personal favorite is the Beetles; My favorite television shows are about cooking, travel, and fashion.
Marketing Plan:
I plan to combine my passion for the arts and my experience as a mentor and teacher to establish a strong marketing program to educate our state and nation about the Miss America Outstanding Teen Scholarship Program and H.E.A.R.T. I will network throughout the nation to share my message of enrichment throughout the Arts and how it affects our youth in all aspects of life. I will target school districts that are in danger of losing the Arts programs and funding in an effort to change their attitudes towards the benefits of partnership with both organizations.
Legacy:
My hope is that in the year of my service as Miss Ohio's Outstanding Teen, I would leave a difference in this state regarding the way we support the Arts. I hope that through my continued involvement on the state and national level with H.E.A.R.T. that I help bring about state-wide support and recognition. My personal legacy is to always be thought of as a person of good character and extraordinary leadership skills.
